Description

The US Geological Survey has a requirement to upgrade the DSW600 digital scanning workstation Serial Number 450. The USGS intends awarding a sole source purchase order to Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging as the manufacturer of the equipment. The vendor will upgrade light source from Xenon strobe to the new LED light source, install new style glass platen and cover glass plate, update front and back covers with fans for cooling, and provide new PC and scanning software configuration for upgrading the DSW600. Vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer at spescitani@usgs.gov no later than 11/23/2007 with an affirmative answer. The USGS plans to make this award under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.
