- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN 2840-01-449-1573NZ P/N: 4084071-01, Combustion Chamber Liner, This is Requirement can be used for USAF or FMS qty range min 34 med 91 ea max 125 each. Size: 9.7 Height 3X5 Diameter Function: Detail Part that is requires for the repair for the CC Liner Material: PWA 1042 Cobalt . Applicable to: F100 PW229 Engine. Governments required Delivery March 2008 . The approximate solicitation issue date will be 10 Jun 2007 . The anticipated award date will be 30 Jul 2007. Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney East Hartford, and Smiths Aerospace ?Manchester Manchester CT. Responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Potential offerors can obtain a copy of the solicitation from this FEDBIZOPS web site as soon as the Government has issued and posted the solicitation. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDS at https://fedteds.gov/. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 8, 23 and 26. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
