Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for technical support and services in the development of a surface vehicle for the removal of fouling from surfaces underwater. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and award a firm-fixed price purchase order to Dynaflow of Jessup, MD. The vendor, Dynaflow Inc, has the capability and past experience on cleaning geometry concepts for the "Advance Underwater Hull Cleaning System." Dynaflow, in conjunction with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) has been part of a working group on this project for over two years. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2(A)(iii)B. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capability statement to P. Perzella by e-mail at patricia.perzella@navy.mil or by fax at 301-227-1847. Requirement is 100% set-aside for small business.
