- This modification is to add Attachment A to the Statement of Work. This is a sources sought announcement to seek potential vendors that could fulfill the attached requirement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of market research being conducted by the NIH to identify businesses that are capable of performing the required service for the NIH Library. The draft Statement of Work is attached to this sources sought notice. Interested small firms are invited to submit a capability statement addressing the ability to satisfy the requirement. The capability statement should reference Sources Sought number NIHOD2008046 and should be no longer than 15 pages in length and shall include the following: (1) Name and Address of the Organization (2) the size standard and small business program status of the company as listed under www.ccr.gov (3) Point of Contact with name, title, voice/telephone, faxsimile number, and email address (4) DUNS number (5) Contractor?s capability statement that demonstrates the firm?s ability, knowledge, and experience to perform the key requirements described and its knowledge and experience specific to the Draft Statement of Work. The firm must demonstrate that they have the necessary personnel with experience, labor, materials, services, equipment, and facilities to support the efforts detailed in the Draft SOW. Pamphlets and standard brochures will not be considered as responsive to this sources sought (6) List of three organization to when similar types of services have been previously provided with the last three (3) years?to include contract number, dollar value, name and telephone number of customer (7) Qualifications of any key personnel likely to work on requirement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDEING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUREST. RESPONDENT WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE T THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. THE CLOSING DATE FOR RESPONSES IS November 26, 2007 at 2 PM EST. FAXED AND E-MAILED CAPABILITY STATEMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All questions must be in writing and may be e-mailed to Lorraine Geiser at geiserl@od.nih.gov by November 16, 2007. Firms are to mail two copies of its capability statement to the address listed in FedBizOpps with attention to Lorraine Geiser.
