Description

This Is A Sources Sought Announcement Only For Purposes Of Conducting Market Research. There Is No Solicitation Available At This Time. Requests For A Solicitation Will Not Receive A Response. The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPh erson, Georgia is conducting market research to determine the existence of small business sources capable of performing as prime contractors to perform solid waste collection, disposal and recycling services, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The anticipated North American Classification Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111; small business size standard is $11.5 Million. The Government will not reimburse any business concern for any information submitted in response to this sources sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Business concerns submitting responses should indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone or service disabled veteran owned small business. All small business concerns are required to su bmit a written capabilities statement demonstrating ability to perform and include the following: 1. Capability to manage solid waste collection, disposal and recycling services, identifying the largest most complex requirement and dollar value. 2. Past performance information demonstrating relevant past experience in solid waste collection, disposal and recycling on military installations. 3. Current successful teaming arrangements with other business concerns, large or small. All interested business c oncerns are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email 20 November 2007, 2:00 p.m. EDT. Responses must include company point of contact, email address, telephone and fax numbers. The information provided in response to this sources sought announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement. If it is determined that responses received from small business concerns do not support capability to perform this requirement, the final acquisition strategy may provide for this requirement to be competed on an unrestricted basis using full and open competition. Large business concerns are not prohibited from responding to this announcement.
