- Description
- This acquisition for procurement of Shore Power Kits, with various w/White, black and Red male/female hoods with male/female contacts. These kits are used on shore power cable, Leviton part# 22L22SE. Various Leviton part numbers: 22L22SR Kit-Red, 250 kits, 22L25SE Kit-Black, 250 kits, 22L25SW-Kit-white etc. The combinations example: One black male hood and one male contact. Now being purchase as a kit using Simplified Acquisition procedures. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is anticipated. The FSC code is 6110 and the NAICS code is 335931. The requiring activity is NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil or email emanuel.clemons@navy.mil. The RFQ will be posted on 11/16/07 with closing date of 11/28/2007. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov. This is a 100% small business set aside.
