Description

Generator G1 and G2: Remove and dispose of existing armature windings and stator cores; furnish and factory test new generator stator cores and armature windings; install and field test new generator stator cores and armature windings; remove, refurbish, reinstall, and test field poles and windings for Generator G1 and G2. Furnish stator core, armature winding, and field winding spare parts for Generator G1 and G2. Perform mechanical evaluations of Generator G1 and G2. Complete work on Generator G1, before starting work on Generator G2. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Quality Predominance. The primary evaluation factors are: Equipment and Manufacturing Facility Information, Proposed Schedule, Key Personnel, Company Past Performance and Experience, Safety, Socioeconomic Goals. Price and Technical Proposals are tentatively due on or around January 25, 2008, at the Bureau of Reclamation, (Attention: Alma Bergerson GP-3800), Room 2035, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101. The RFP (solicitation package, hard copy) is anticipated to be issued on or around December 12, 2007, and will not be available electronically. All reasonable sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. The estimated price range of the project is $5.0 million to $10.0 million. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237990, the Small Business Size Standard is $31.0 million. This acquisition is unrestricted. The specifications and drawings will NOT be posted electronically and will be available in hard copy. To receive a hard-copy of the solicitation, the request must be on company letterhead and include: the solicitation number, contractor's name, address, telephone and fax numbers, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and faxed to: Hart BlackEagle, at FAX No. 406-247-7798. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration (http://www.ccr.gov) Contractors submitting a proposal, must complete the Representations and Certifications On Line.
