- Description: This is a pre-solicitation notice for Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Services. The proposal will include all necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies associated with the full range of ADHC services. This procurement will be solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This will be a multi-award firm-fixed price agreement. A map of the catchment area will be included with the actual solicitation. The area covers parts of Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Pricing shall be negotiated if not fair and reasonable. Evaluations will be achieved by the inspection team and facility must meet standards referenced or outlined in this proposal. Contracts will be formed in accordance to the terms and conditions of this agreement when the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS agrees to place a patient/veteran in the Contract Adult Day Health Care Facility (CADHCF) and the CADHCF agrees to accept the patient/veteran. Estimated RFP issue date is November 19, 2007. Estimated Proposal Closing Date is December 14, 2007, but contracts may be initialized earlier if both parties come to agreement. Solicitation, amendments, and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to current information. The performance period will include a one-year base period, with four (4) one-year options to renew at the Government's discretion. In order to be eligible for award, registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database is required. To register, please go to http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 624120- Services for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities.
