Description

This is a market survey to locate additional supply sources for Remanufactured Engines, NSN 2815-00-530-8742, Drawing # 72-2222, CAGE 30554. These Engines are used in the 15 kW MIL-STD Gen Sets. This acquisition is a one-time buy with a quantity of 30. The government does not provide the core for the engine. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from a listed source demonstratin g that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier list above. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
