- Notice of intent to issue a Sole Source Contract, this is not a request for competitive proposals. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Fort Detrick, MD anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for the continuation of the 21 st Century Military Hospital SystemTM (Future Medical Shelter System [FMSS]) Test and Evaluation Shelters with Mobile Medical International Corp., St. Johnsbury, VT. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requireme nt or submit proposals. All proposals (with capability statements) received within 15 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon re sponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W806YH73042001. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduc t a competitive procurement.
