Description
This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a contract for the purchase of an Oscillator, Digitally Tuned, Computer, NSN: 5955-01-466-6451EW, Part Number: 9815241-101 this item is applicable to the AN/ALQ-131 ECM POD System. This contract will be for a basic quantity of 26 each and 4 outyear options. Option (1) will be for quantities ranging from 1 ? 50 to be exercised within 1 year after the basic quantity is exercised. Option (2) will be for quantities ranging from 1-50 to be exercised 1 year after Option (1) is exercised. Option (3) will be for quantities ranging from 1 -50 to be exercised 1 year after Option (2) is exercised. Option (4) will be for quantities ranging from 1 ? 50 to be exercised 1 year after Option (3) is exercised. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Microwave Corporation, (dba Herley Farmingdale), Cage: 11332, in accordance with FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days (days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
