- Description
- This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number HSCG80-08-Q-313015. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and competence to perform the following for USCG 41 foot utility boat : Dry dock repairs including Welding Repairs, Clean and Inspect fuel tanks, Remove, Inspect and Reinstall Both Propeller Shafts, Renew Port and Starboard Water Lubricated Shaft bearings, Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Port and Starboard Propellers, renew Sea Valves, Remove, Inspect, and Reinstall Rudders, Preserve Underwater body, Air test skeg, Remove and Install Portable Deck (Soft Patch), Routine Dry docking, Provide temporary Logistics. This dry dock is geographically restricted to an area within 272 nautical miles of Venice LA, on navigable waterways no more then 30 nautical miles offshore. Performance period is 40 DAYS starting January 16, 2008. The RFQ package and Specifications will be available electronically on or about November 30, 2007. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. This is a total small business set-aside. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Price and technically acceptable.
