- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS ONLY- THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND 11 DECEMBER 2007 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is intending to solicit for the following non-commercial items: Electrical Cable. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 15 acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers and will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Government requires CLIN 0001: First Articles; Contractor shall test 100 ft of cable IAW drawing specifications and test report shall be sent to NUWC Keyport for approval. First articles may be waived to proven sources. CLIN 0002: 5,700 feet of special purpose electrical cable manufactured in accordance with Drawing 6557910, Revision A. Cable must be delivered in 95 feet multiples and required delivery date is no later than 14 weeks after contract award. CLIN 0003: Optional quantity of 2,470 feet may be ordered within 365 days of contract award and required delivery for the optional quantity will be 14 weeks after receipt of order. All items are FOB Destination: Naval Unde rsea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Final inspection and acceptance shall be at Destination. When issued, the RFP will be posted electronically on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO). Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. It is anticipated that the solicitation package will be available for download via the NECO website (https://www.neco.navy.mil/) on or about 11 December 2007. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in sub mitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all repres entations and certifications found in the solicitation, and (3) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). * Drawings Referenced in this Solicitation are restricted and are ONLY available to vendors/contractors appointed Data Custodian that is registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP).
