Paragraph (xiii) of the Combined Synopsis is amended to include the following clarification: Any reference to "Liquification Technology" (or Pulsed Fluidic Technology) is to describe the requirement that the phacoemulsification machine be able to provide warmed pulses of sterile irrigating solution delivered through a smooth polymer tip to delaminate and separate lens tissue.
