Box 25287, Denver, Colorado 80225-0287, UNITED STATES DESCRIPTION This special notice for commercial items is posted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 with consideration given to FAR Part 5.202(a)(13), as supplemented with additional information included within to provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary to provide: Four (4) each, The work of this section consists of furnishing and installing courtesy docks to include decking, flotation system, steel structural framing, anchorage cables, bumpers and tie down cleats. Additionally, a solar powered dock light provided by the National Park Service shall be mounted on each dock in the location specified on the engineering documents. Existing courtesy docks shall be removed and properly disposed of outside the Park in accordance with the attached Specifications and Drawings. Delivery will be to: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Boulder City, Nevada. Delivery will be approximately: The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acqusition Circulars (FACs) 2005-19 and 2005-20. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No Q8360-08-1033. The line item(s) will be provided in accordance with the attachments. The prices shall be all inclusive of costs. All offers in response to this RFQ must be submitted NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 12, 2007, 4:00 pm MST. The proposed requirement is set-aside for Small Business concerns and applies to the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 423390 with a size standard of 100 emplyees. The Government will make a best value award decision IAW FAR Part 13.106-2. Quotes shall include pricing information to include unit price and the extended total. This is a 100% small business set aside procurement. The FOB is Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. This constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ), written offers are being requested; and a written RFQ will not be issued. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Interested parties will need to monitor the website to ensure that they have the most up to date information regarding the acquisition. All questions resulting from this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to david_thomas@nps.gov or FAX to (303)987-6646 prior to December 7, 2007. Reference the solicitation number in the subject line of your email. Offers and all required documents maybe submitted electronically, mail carrier, or via fax (303)987-6646, however; the Government shall not be responsible for the malfunction of electronic machinery or mail carrier error. Contractor must have a valid DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, with an active status, to be eligible for award.
