Description

The Wiesbaden Contracting Center intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for Armed Guard Services at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The contract shall be for a period of one base year with two one-year options. The estimated numbe r of Guards is 170 with a minimum staffing of 42 armed positions. 33 of these positions are 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 7 of these positions are 14 hours a day, seven days a week and a further 2 positions are 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Gua rd services will include at a minimum; gate/access control guards, roving patrols, observation posts, operational support personnel and 1 unarmed Project Manager and 1 unarmed Logistician/Property Book Manager. Only United States citizens may perform dutie s under the contract. Billeting and other logistical support for the guards shall be provided by the Government. The solictiation for this requirement is expected to be released on or about 15 February 2008 with offers due in on or about 30 March 2008. To facilitate vendors in submitting valid offers a pre-proposal site visit in Kosovo is planned for the week 25-29 Feb 2008 (subject to change). Contract award is expected to be made between 15 July 2008 and 1 August 2008 with a performance start date of 1 N ovember 2008.
