Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Optical Borehole Image Processing System and Acoustic Borehole Logging at Folsom Dam REQ. 078668330013 1.0 General. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for the use of an Optical Borehole Image Processing (OBI) System, Acoustic Borehole Logging (ABI), and three-arm caliper at Folsom Dam, Ca. 2.0 Work To Be Performed by Contractor. An OBI and ABI System survey and associated geophysical logs as described above are to be conducted in 7 holes at Folsom Dam outside of Folsom, CA. The holes are in bedrock. The contractor shall perform digital borehole imaging surveys and geophysical logs as described above in seven (7)holes. The hole depths are as follows: 1-hole 300 feet-45 degree angle; 3-holes 100 feet-vertical; 1-hole 80 feet-vertical; 2-holes 50 feet-vertical. The contractor will mobilize the necessary personnel and equipment to the site to perform the survey, and then demobilize after the work has been completed. 3.0 Summary of Deliverables. Fracture tables, rose plots, stereonet projections and digital outputs of the raw and processed geophysical data shall be provided by the contractor upon completion of the work. All final digital image data analysis shall be referenced to true north. Data will be provided in .pdf, .xcl, .wcl, .rgb, .wdt, .las formats as appropriate for the data type. 4.0 Project Completion/Delivery Schedule. The contractor shall complete all work performed by no later than eight weeks after award. Deliverables listed in paragraph 3.0 above are required fourteen days after completion of field work. 4.1 Review of Deliverables and acceptance. Deliverables shall be forwarded to Jerry Wright, Geophysicist at the address listed below. Mr. Wright will be accepting the deliverables for the Bureau of Reclamation. 5.0 Address for Deliverables.
