Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, Streamlined Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Department of Interior, through its Franchise Fund activity, Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation, Number 1406-04-08-CS-20341 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-22. This requirement is a total small business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 314110 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The resultant award shall be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Order. This Order will procure supplies and services for the removal and replacement of floor carpeting (to include the cove base) in Denton's Mobile Emergency Response Support (MERS), Vehicle Administrative Storage Buildings (VSAB 1 and 2). Date of delivery shall be within 45 days from the date of award.
