- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This amendment changes the requirement to two (2) each with the second trailer as an option to the contract. GO TO NSWCDD WEBSITE http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY TO SEE THE CHANGES ON ATTACHMENT (1). The closing date is extended to 07 December 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336212 with a size standard of 500 employees. The government reserves the right to award on an ?all or none basis? or to make a partial award to fulfill the needs of the government. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business distributors and FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Small Business Set-Aside (June 2003) is applicable. The award shall be firm fixed priced contract. The delivery shall be two months after date of award or exercise of an option. This requirement is DO rated. Award of this requirement shall be based on ability to meet specifications, delivery schedule, price, and past performance. FOB Destination Dahlgren, Virginia shall apply. The solicitation is amended to incorporate the following clause: FAR 52.217-7 Option for Increased Quantity ? Separately Priced Line Item. All other clauses as identified in N00178-08-R-1004 shall apply. This announcement is the only solicitation being issued. The solicitation number is N00178-08-R-1004. All interested parties shall contact the Contract Specialist at (540) 653-7478 or DLGR_NSWC_XDS11@navy.mil. Quotations are due 7 December 2007 no later than 2:00 p.m. ? local NSWCDD time (EDST) to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110 at Building 183, First Floor, Room 102A. Anticipated award shall be made by 14 December 2007.
