- Description
- Arnold Air Force Base (AEDC), Tennessee, has a requirement for a new wound rotor induction motor rated 6,000 hp, 6,900 volts, 6-pole, 60Hz, 1200 rpm nominal speed, as a universal spare to replace any one of the four currently installed and operational. This procurement also includes installation and start-up of the new motor. Request for Proposal (RFP) with the complete specification will be available on or about 28 November 2007. This synopsis is a replacement for the previous synopsis that was posted under solicitation FA9101-07-R-0007. The RFP and specification will only be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP amendments, etc. It is the responsibility of the vendor (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all the available information.
