- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to issue a Brand Name procurement action where Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required for a Photopolymer Rapid Prototyper (3-D Printer) Eden500V, P/N: E500V/12, 19.7? x 19.7? x 7.9? build envelop, dual 3.6kg, cartridges, high speed and high quality build modes, runs all materials. (OBJ-03001) Includes ? 12 month warranty for parts and labor excluding heads. (GNL-10000) Object Studio software. (KIT-05000) Supreme Start-up kit Eden 500V/350V/350. (KIT-02021) 4 Pack- single Head Replacement Printing Head. (OBJ-03114) Installation and site and training at customers facility. (OBJ-03204) 1x Jumbo Vero Blue FullCure840/3.6kg Cartridges. (OBJ-03206) 1x Jumbo Vero White FullCure850/3.6kg Cartridges. (OBJ-03201) 3x Jumbo Support FullCure705/3.6kg Cartridges. (CMP-00013) Host Computer, DC7700C DC 3.4, P4 4 GB RAM. (CMP-00022) Screen, 17? Flat ? Computer warranty will be provided by specific computer manufacturer. (OBJ-03006) Water Jet 11.0V ? includes one year warranty on parts except for 6 month warranty on pump. Shipping included Quantity: 1 each. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 423830 with a business size standard of 100 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 4 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Firms who want to challenge the Brand Name must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm?s ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact by 16 November 2007, 1:00 p.m. (PST). A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. Rule requires a firm to be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) (www.ccr.gov), ORCA (https://orca.bpn.gov/) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) (https://wawf.eb.mil/ ) prior to award of any contract or agreements.
