- Description
- NASA/KSC has a requirement for a quantity of seventeen Dual PCI Bit Synchronizer cards, Model BSM202, with PCI form-factor (single PCI slot), 2 inputs sources per channel, bit rates (5bps to 20 Mbps), loop bandwidth settings from 0.01% to 1.6%, Tracking up to 15% of data rate, accepts PCM Formats NRZ-L/M/S, RNRZ, Bi?-L/M/S, DM-M/S MDM, Viterbi Decoding, and is fully controllable via RS-232 or RS-485 Remote port or programmatically via the PCI Bus. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from GDP Space Systems, 300 Welsh Road, Building 3, Horsham, PA, 19044-2273. NASA/KSC has developed extensive custom software to integrate the GDP Space Systems Model BSM202 Dual PCI Bit Synchronizer cards into a prototype Telemetry Data Processor unit. The acquired system shall be compatible with the existing NASA/KSC custom software and work with the PCM streams used to support Expendable Launch Vehicle launches at the Eastern and Western Test Ranges. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing via email to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on December 07, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
