Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor  LifeSaving Inc; Product  Oxylator EMXbt (Part #CPT-EMXbt and NSN 6515-01-518-3892); Quantity = 35. Essential characteristics: Requires no power source other than 50 PSI of compressed Oxygen/air; Operates with either mask or ET-tubes; Weight = .5lbs; 2.25in x 4.25in; Acetal; 45-80psig; Minimum 40 lpm; Auto Adjusting t o Lung Capacity; Single Use, disposable. Items are to be shipped directly to US Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe, Husterhoeh Kaserne, Receiving Branch Building 4171, 66953 Pirmasens, Germany. This announcement constitutes the solicitation by USAMRAA, F t Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 50470000; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112; the FSC 6515.
