Description

This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and no further written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is for snow removal services to be performed at various locations throughout Boston National Historical Park. Performance locations will include Charlestown Navy Yard, Bunker Hill Monument, Bunker Hill Museum and various locations throughout Boston as needed. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to supply snow plowing services. Services will include but are not limited to sanding, salting and plowing necessary to maintain clear roadways, sidewalks, walkways, passageways and living quarters access. These duties will be performed when the park is closed for operation and on weekends. Response within 1 hour of a service call is required. The performance period for this contract will be 12/31/2007- 3/31/2008. Award will be based on best value for the government. Price is approximately equal in importance to non-price factors. Please provide the following as part of the quote package: Evidence of ability to provide minimum equipment requirements (please refer to #4. of the attached Scope of Work) References/ Prior Experience Evidence of Insurance Attached Bid Schedule or list of requested prices A pre-quote meeting will be held on 12/07/2007 at 10:00 am EST. This meeting will be located at Boston National Historical Park in the 1st floor Conference Room located at Building I in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA . The NAICS code being used for this project is 561730 with a size standard of $6.5 Million. This solicitation is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This solicitation is also subject to Full and Open Competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
