- Description
- This is a combined brand name justification and sources sought notice. EPA R1 intends to upgrade two existing DataDomain DD530 in order to provide addition capacity to the region?s backup architecture. It is believed that the upgrades to the DD530 units purchased must be DataDomain units because the software is proprietary to the company and the upgrade hardware is only manufactured by DataDomain. If you know of another brand that is capable of providing addition capacity to our DD530 please let us know. The upgrade we are looking for includes a license and 6 disk drive (3TB); we would also like a 1yr platinum service plan (24x7xNBD). Additionally, if you carry the above equipment please identify your potential interest in fulfilling our requirement. Please submit responses by 12/7/07.
