Description

Drydock vessel for cleaning and coating of underwater hull and jet drives. Vessel is located at Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet; however performance will be at the awardee's facility. Work is be performed in the local bay area as the vessel is not seaworthy for ocean tow. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting and and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov no earlier then January 12, 2008. (1) Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation. (2) No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Bids however will not be accepted electronically. They are to be submitted to the Contracting Officer's attention: Maritime Administration, Western Region, 201 Mission St, Ste 2200, San Francisco CA 94105. (3) Effective January 1, 2005, bidders are to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business Partner Network (BPN) Website at http://orca.bpn.gov. (4) ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
