- Description
- The Defense Distribution Depot, Anniston, AL (DDAA) has a requirement to establish an indefinite delivery / requirements contract to provide Transparent, flexible, sealable, Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor Treated Barrier Material, 5 MIL, per MIL-PRF-22109E, Type II, 3 inch core diameter, sizes 2500 feet long X 18 inches wide and 2500 feet long X 14 inches wide. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Anniston, AL 36201. Contract period shall be for one (1) year base period with four (4) one year option periods. An economic price adjustment clause will be used to offset unpredictable changes in material costs during contract performance. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 322221 and the size standard is 500 employees. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov. The Government will make payment for all barrier material ordered under any resultant contract via credit card. Therefore, to be considered for award, the Contractor must be capable of accepting payment via the Government Purchase Card. The Government intends to award one contract as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to the responsible offer based on the total overall lowest evaluated price offered. It is anticipated that RFP SP3100-08-R-0004 will be posted to this site on or around November 5, 2007. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this site. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments that may be issued under this RFP. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. Failure to acknowledge amendments may render your proposal ineligible for award.
