Description
The proposed contract is set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered. This procurement is for the production of UH/HH-60M Blade Fold Kits (BFKs) and a redesign of the existing UH/HH-60M (BFK) to make it usable on all versions of the UH/HH-60 aircraft. (1) As part of the Base effort, the Contractor will be required to accomplish the following: (a) Develop a UH-60A/L Blade Fo ld Adapter Kit (BFAK) to configure the current BFK so that it can be utilized on all UH/HH-60 aircraft. (b) Update the existing drawings to incorporate the design changes, conduct a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on the current kit and the new kit design, and develop maintenance instructions for use of the redesigned kit on the UH/HH-60A/L and the UH/HH-60M. (c) Manufacture, test, and deliver one (1) prototype BFAK for use in conduct of Government conducted First Article Test (FAT). The prototype BFAK sh all be delivered to the Government NLT 30 working days prior to start of the FAT. Manufacture of the reconfigured kits will be included in the contract as an OPTION. (d) Manufacture one (1) prototype UH/HH-60M BFK, utilizing the approved drawings, for use in Government conducted FAT. (e) After completion of the Government conducted FAT, manufacture fifty (50) UH/HH-60M BFKs (includes the prototype BFK). (2) An Option will be included in the contract for the reconfigured BFK. If the option is exercised, the contractor shall: (a) Manufacture one (1) UH/HH-60 BFK, utilizing the updated drawings developed under the base effort, for use in a Government conducted FAT. (b) After successful completion of the Government conducted FAT, manufacture a minimum fifty (50) to a maximum of one hundred (100) UH/HH-60 BFKs (to include the FAT BFK).
