- Description
- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Systems Procurement Section (PL8223), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a competitive solicitation, 100 % set-aside for small business participants. The solicitation requires Operation, Maintenance, and Support of the Defense Information System Network Video Services (DVS-II). DVS-II is a network of video service hubs located within and outside of the continental United States. Currently the hubs and supporting facilities are in the following locations: Columbus, OH; Ogden, UT; Pearl Harbor, HI; Vaihingen, Germany; Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Scott AFB, IL (with equipment storage in St Louis, MO); and Falls Church, VA. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price service with Time and Materials and Cost-Reimbursement features. The contract period will be a three (3) year base with two (2) one-year option periods. Only responses from eligible small business offerors will be considered. Oral communications will not be accepted. When released, the solicitation will be available for download from the DITCO Contracting Opportunities web site at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/public/asp/dcop/asp. The release of a request for proposal (RFP) is anticipated on or about 20 December 2007 All inquiries regarding this requirement shall be submitted electronically and directed to Ms. Deborah Benscoter, Contracting Officer, at deborah.benscoter@disa.mil. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 541513 is applicable to this requirement. Numbered Note 1 applies. NOTE: Vendor questions and Government answers from the draft RFP will be posted on the DITCO website for review on 06 December 2007.
