- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard has a requirement for repair of propellers and propeller blades used on various types of Patrol Boats and Cutters. The propellers and propeller blades shall be repaired in accordance with various Coast Guard Specifications and Drawings as listed in the Solicitation. A WMEC CPP Blade Set RH, 2 Each, 2010-01-134-7238 ? 210? B WMEC CPP Blade Set, 3 Each, 2010-01-134-0378 ? 210? B WMEC CPP Blade Set LH, 3 Each, 2010-01-120-2871 ? 270? The contractor shall maintain an inspection system which shall ensure that each item offered to the Coast Guard for acceptance conforms to ANSI/ASCQ-Q9003-1994 and be available for review by the Coast Guard. Welding procedures, welding qualifications and weld performance qualifications in accordance with DOD-STD-2185 or the America Bureau of Shipping must be submitted for approval with the solicitation. A requirements type contract for One (1) Base Year and Four (4) Option Years is anticipated. Delivery of the Pre-Repair Inspection Report due within 20 days after receipt of the government property. Delivery of repaired propeller/propeller blade due within 45 days after approval of the Pre-Repair Inspection Report. Delivery to be made F.O.B. destination to the U. S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPS when issued. Contractors are encouraged to check FEDBIZOPS on a regular basis for the solicitation and any amendments. See Numbered Note 12.
