- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award on a sole source basis to SatCom Systems, Incorporated doing business as Agiosat Global Communications, 2333 N. Valley Street, Burbank, CA 91505-1114 for the annual service fe e for Broadband Satellite Communications Service for the Dredge McFARLAND. Satellite communications service is required to ensure the Dredge McFARLAND operates as a Mobile Communications and Command Center. The services required are compatible with Agios at Global Communications Global Network System which is currently installed on the Dredge McFARLAND. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No RFQ will be issued based on this notice. However, al l information received within seven (7) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to op en the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All contractors are required to be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Reg ister before award as required by DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A.
