- GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type: Notice of Intent for Sole Source The CLOSING DATE FOR THIS NOTICE IS 12 DEC 07; 4:00 PM CST. The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston TX 78234-6200, intends to awar d a sole source contract to MD Scientific, LLC for the purchase of the EndoTool Glucose Management System for twelve months for 16 burn unit beds. This system will include installation and training. The following items are required: 1. Provide an FDA clear ed Glucose Management System. 2. The Glucose Management System computer decision support system software must use PROJECTION MECHANICS and NOT proportional multiplier processes for predictions of glucose controls. MD Scientific, LLC is the only known FDA c leared manufacturer/distributor of computer decision support system software that uses PROJECTION MECHANICS to achieve predictions of glucose controls.
