Description

This is a Sources Sought synopsis for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)Office Renovation Project located at Terminal "A", Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, New Jersey. The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking interested and capable small business firms who can provide all management, supervision, labor, materials/supplies and equipment and who can also plan, coordinate and assure effective performance of the following: removal of cabinets, floor tiles, partitions, doors and ceilings, HVAC ductwork, plumbing, lighting and wiring. This project also includes removal of asbestos containing materials and the installation of sheetrock partition walls, accoustical ceiling, fire alarm devices and panels, new power distribution panels, general receptacles and data/voice receptacles. All small business firms are invited to submit a brief capabilities statement no later than February 7, 2007 3:00 PM. Firms must indicate their experience over the past 5 years on similar projects/jobs of this magnitude. Firms must also be capable of submitting Bid and Performance Bonds. If a sufficient number of interest is received from capable small business concerns, the solicitation may be issued as a small business set-aside. This is not a request for proposal. Solicitation is not available at this time. NAICS code is 236220. All interested firms must respond in writing. Prospective offerors shall have the ability to work in conjunction with the TSA and Port Authority of NY/NJ.
