Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS FA8604-08-R-7008 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and FAR incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-22 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20071207. This solicitation incorporates by reference the following FAR and DFAR clauses: 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-04, 52.212-05, 252.211-7003, 252-212-7001 and 252.232-7010. The NAIC Code is 511210. This requirement is for MATLAB and Simulink Software Maintenance and additional specific toolbox maintenance support. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). Wright-Patterson Air Force Base intends to award to The Mathworks, Inc., 3 Apple, Natick MA 01760-2098 in contemplation of an approved sole source. The period of performance is noted below for each CLIN. Prices shall be provided for the following CLINs listed below: SEE ATTACHED ITEM DESCRIPTION Ship to: NASIC/SCXA, ATTN: B. Lammers, 4170 Hebble Creek Road, Bldg 280, Door 12, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433, FOB Destination. Net 30 Payment Terms. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. The offeror is requested to provide Technical Capability, Price Proposal and Past Performance Information. The evaluation criteria is described below in descending order of importance. All non-price factors when combined are significantly more important than price. 1. Technical Capability 2. Price 3.
