- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for reward and recognition items for the Employee to Employee (E2E) Reward and Recognition Program prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. KDDAR8MR002 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). To obtain a copy of the RFQ to include the description of items, contact the contract specialist, Cathy Beckstedt at (614) 693-0113 or by email at Cathy.Beckstedt@dfas.mil. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. This requirement is solicited as total 8A Set Aside and the associated NAICS code is 424320, clothing, men?s and boys, merchant wholesalers or 424330, clothing women?s and girls, merchant wholesalers and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The requirement is for various reward and recognition items used at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Indianapolis, IN. Pricing shall be in accordance with the item descriptions in the Request for Quotation. All contract requirements must be maintained at all times. Delivery is anticipated for January 15, 2008 with inspection and acceptance at destination and F.O.B. destination. The following provisions apply to include any addenda - 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers ? Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (offerors are to complete when returning their offer); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DOC9.
