- Description
- DITCO-Europe intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Fiber Optic Network Installation Services on 13 December 2007. The contractor will be responsible for engineering, furnishing, constructing, and installing a turnkey fiber optic backbone network segment (Hanau to Wiesbaden) within the Federal Republic of Germany. The backbone will consist of a defined segment traversing the Federal Republic of Germany public and private lands with terminating points on selected U.S. military installations. The segment and termination will be constructed with the most recent Outside Plant (OSP) and Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) materials and practices in an effort to achieve maximum bandwidth and infrastructure life.
