Description: The Deschutes National Forests anticipates advertising for a Chip Seal project on Forest Highway # 2200 starting at the Forest Service boundary approx, 2 miles east of LaPine Oregon. Project includes the placement of a single layer chip seal over an existing asphalt mat. Work also includes minor hot mix patching and traffic control items. Work can occur between June 1 and Sept. 15 of 2008. The estimated price magnitude is $100,000 - $300,000. The solicitation with applicable specifications an drawings will be posted around December 13, 2007 with offers due 30 days later.
