- This is a sources sought announcement to seek potential vendors that could fulfill the attached requirement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT COMMITTED TO AWARD A CONTRACT PURSUANT TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of market research being conducted by the NIH to identify small business sources (including small business programs, 8(a), HubZone, woman-owned, Veteren and/or Service Disabled Veteran and to encourage teaming of vendors) that are capable of performing the required service for the NIH Library. The draft Statement of Work is attached to this Sources Sought Notice. The capability statement should reference the Sources Sought number NIHOD2008047 and include the following: (1) Name and Address of the Organization (2) the size standard and small business program status of the company as listed under www.ccr.gov (3) Point of Contact with name, title, voice/telephone, facsimile number, and email address (4) DUNS number (5) Contractor?s capability statement that demonstrates the firm?s ability, knowledge, and experience to perform the key requirements described and its knowledge and experience specific to the Draft Statement of Work. The firm must demonstrate that they have the necessary personnel with experience, labor, materials, services, equipment, and facilities to support the efforts detailed in the Draft SOW. (6) Qualifications of any key personnel likely to work on requirement. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUEST. RESPONDENT WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS OF THE EVALUATION. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. RESPONDING FIRMS SHOULD PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF THE CAPABILITY STATEMENT BY JANUARY 2, 2007 at 2 PM EST and mail to Lorraine Geiser, 6011 Executive Boulevard, Room 529P, Bethesda, Maryland 20892-7663. (NOTE: If you are using a courier service, Federal Express, UPS,or Express Mail, the city, state, and zip code should read ROCKVILLE, MD 20852).
