Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR AMBULANCE PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, for the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando Florida. This is a presolicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Quotations Solicitation Number VA-248-08-RQ-0131. Solicitation issue date on/about 2 January 2008, proposal due date approximately 14 days thereafter. Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621910, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all personnel, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide ALS and BLS ambulance transportation service for VA beneficiaries. Period of performance: 1 April 2008 through 30 March 2009, with two 12-month option periods. Contractor must possess all necessary licenses to perform this service in Orange County Florida. All necessary solicitation documents may be obtained on the FedBizOpps system after 2 January. using the solicitation number.
