- Description
- Solicitation 8007-37 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Department of the Interior and other Federal wildland fire suppression programs. Multiple awards will be made in order that an adequate number of sources will be available as needs arise. The contract period will be from date of award through February 28, 2009 with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires a low wing single engine agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 500 gallons of material weighing 4,600 pounds. The Contractor shall possess a current Federal Aviation Administration Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is December 18, 2007. The solicitation will be available at this site and http://amd.nbc.gov.
