- Description
- During the period of 20 February 2008 through 30 September 2008, the Government intends to award a contract modification to provide life cycle integration for the SWFPAC Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System (INWSS), a subsystem of the Strategic Weapon System (SWS). Specific activities will include: (1) management and accountability of INWSS security force ammunition, vehicles, and communication equipment required for INWSS security force operations and training; and (3) program management and support for the efforts related to planning and execution to be consistent with SWS program planning. This procurement will be awarded to BAE SYSTEMS Applied Technologies, Inc of Rockville, MD, the only known source capable of performing this effort. Security Clearance Required. See Note 22*****
