Description
The U.S. Coast Guard engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD has a requirement to issue a Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, for one base year with options to renew for four (4) additional years for the Open, Inspect, Report and Repair of parts for the Scalable Integrated Navigations Systems 1SG38-SINS Equipment. Commercial Acquisition Procedures will be utilized under the Test Program for Commercial Items and in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number of this acquisition is HSCG40-07-R-20033. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 811213 and the size standard for small business is $6.0 Mil. It is the Government?s belief that only Furuno USA, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or one of their authorized repair facilities possess the required capabilities to perform these repairs. The Government did not procure the data rights to the specifications, drawings, or documentation necessary to perform these repairs. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY! It is the Government?s intention to solicit and negotiate only with Furuno USA or their authorized repair facilities. All repaired material must meet form, fit, function and compatibility criteria and repairs shall be made in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work and all other applicable documents are uploaded electronically.
