- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. STATEMENT OF WORK BUILDING 207 CARPET INSTALLATION Contractor to supply submittals on all materials not specified below for Contracting Officer approval and coordination. S ubstitutions require Contracting Officer approval. Work site contains no ACM Dispose of all building material in accordance with base regulations. This Statement of work outlines the work done in B207 to install approximately 3700 Sq ft of new Car pet, 1515 ft of Cove Base. 1. Replace carpet in designated office areas, Building 207. Carpet pattern, style and color shall be 26 to 28 oz Broadloom. a. Manufacturer: Patcraft b. Style: Splash. c. Color: Ripple, Spiral or Swan Dive i. Contractor shall provide one 24 x24 tile of each color sample for the occupants to select from d. Carpet in Rooms A309 and A307 shall be Government Furnished, Contractor Installed 2. Demo existing cove base without damaging wall surfaces. Dama ge to wall surfaces done during demolition shall be repaired prior to new cove base installation. 3. Install Cove Base in all newly carpeted areas. Contractor shall use 100 Rolls only, and no pre-molded corners. See specification 09650. 4. Install Cove Base in areas with newly applied Epoxy floor covering (Epoxy Floor Covering by Other). Contractor shall use 100 Rolls only, and no pre-molded corners. See specification. 5. Install Vinyl Floor Tile in designated area per Resilient F loor Covering Specification 09650. 6. Contractor not responsible for demo of existing carpet, tile floor coverings, or removal of furniture prior to installation or carpet 7. Phasing of project should allow for minimal disruption to building occupants and other contractor trades working in the Building. Coordinate with other contractor trades as follows: a. This contract shall be worked in concert with work done by Asbestos Abatement contractor responsible for removing 9x9 tile in some of t he areas effected by this contract. b. This contract shall be worked in concert with work done by Epoxy Floor contractor responsible for replacing floor coverings in areas adjacent to work in this contract.
