- This amendment is hereby created to clarify the following: 1. The Cone Drawing is now available for download. 2. The drawings show 8 inch pipe, but as according to the specifications the pipe is 4 inch. 3. The slot is to be ma chined/ground smooth and clean (no rough edges) 4. There are 2 pipe brackets to be mounted on the pipe at each of the 4 mounting locations. 5. The drawings incorrectly removes the need to sand blast the brackets. The brackets need to be sa ndblasted. 6. The contractor will provide all material needed to complete the job for the brackets (both the pipe brackets & the Dam brackets), the cones and caps. 7. All 82 of the 40' sections will be welded together- the example of (3) 40 ' sections welded together into 120' lengthe for John Day and (2) 40'sections welded together into 80' lengths for Bonneville would apply to all the 40' sections. 8. The Dam Brackets and Funnel cones are to be provided loose and ready for mounting. 9. The welding will be done at one time (2 days for Bonneville and 5 days for John Day Dam).
