- Subject: Solicitation F1MTCC7305AT01 Questions and Answers 1. Please see the questions below regarding the RFQ. - Do all attending students have a combat deployment and or a prior shooting course? *No, there are varying levels of experience from none to extensive. - Is ammunition provided by government? If so, how much of each quantity per student: 9mm, 5.56mm (5.56 linked/7.62 linked if applicable for M-249/M-240) *Ammo to be provided by contractor, 900 9mm rounds/1500 frangible 5.56 per student, no linked ammo necessary. - How many students will be attending? *24. - What is the projected course start date? *29 Jan-5 Feb. - Can we visit the range, MOUT/CQB site, vehicle training area and classrooms prior to start date? *The day prior to class starting can be used to visit the facilities. - Can we meet with the Combat Camera staff to get more clarification on terminology and specific needs? *All questions must go through A1C Jackson at 843-963-5163. How many students can be accommodated on the firing line at one time? *There are two firing lines at the shooting range which can easily accommodate two groups of twelve students. Will the government provide a Range Safety Officer or are the instructors to act as RSO as well? *Instructor will act as RSO. Is there a minimum instructor to student ratio required by the client or by Air Force Instructions? *Minimum instructors will be two, at least one on each shooting range. -What is the student to instructor ratio requirement needed? *See above. - If live fire drills are required will 1st Combat Camera SQ provide ammo or does this need to be included in pricing? *Include ammo in pricing 900 9mm rounds/1500 frangible 5.56 per student. - Does the government want a package price that covers both instructor sessions or price per instructor to include Per Diem, hotels, travel etc? *Total overall price to include instructors, per diem, travel, etc. Will students work through the weekend to allow for seven consecutive days of training or will the seven days be split somewhere by a weekend? *See above training dates. Can ?Simunitions ? Special Effects Small Arms Marking System (SESAMS)? be utilized during CQB training? *We will not/do not want to use Simunitions at this time. Is this solicitation to obtain services for a ?one-time? 7-day course or will there be multiple convenings? *This solicitation is for one-time training.
