Description
Under the authority of Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153, the Great Lakes Acquisition Center is seeking quotes for Locum Tenen Psychiatrist (Inpatient or Outpatient) Services. Contractor will provide the services of Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrists to provide either inpatient or outpatient psychiatry services at the Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 East Veterans Street, Tomah, WI, and/or the La Crosse CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) VA River Valley Clinic, 2600 State Rd, La Crosse, WI. The normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm., with a ?? hour non-paid lunch break. Federal holidays are excluded from normal work schedule hours of operation. Contract provider will generally work (8) hours per day (40) hours per week. Coverage for evening and weekend/holiday on-call services is preferred, but not required. This procurement is unrestricted and is open to all offerors. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561320, and for small businesses the size standard is $12.5 million. This is an urgent and compelling requirement; therefore, offers should be presented as soon as possible. Offers received prior to the solicitation response closing date will be reviewed upon receipt. This solicitation will remain open until all needs at the medical center are fulfilled. Award will be made to the company(s) who submits the first acceptable candidate(s). Candidate(s) must successfully complete credentialing and privileging. VA reserves the right to make multiple awards from this solicitation. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about December 17, 2007.
