Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, intends to award a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulations under FAR Part 6.302-1, to Vosta, Inc., 320 Pine Creek Ave., Fairfield CT 06824-6390, to provide 2 Impellers, 3 Suction Liners, 1 Hub liner, and 1 Pump shell. The sole source vendor retains proprietary rights to the molds and patterns for this particular custom equipment. This synopsis is a notice of intent to is sue an award under other than full and open competition conditions and should not be considered as a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not award a contract based on responses to this Sources Sought Notice, the information received, no r reimburse participants for the information they provide. Interested sources may submit a brief Statement of Capability (no more than 10 pages) that demonstrates the ability to meet the requirements specified in the above statement of work, and include a ny Past Performance information on Government contracts of similar size and scope. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining sources for future procurements. Electronic responses are preferred and telephonic requests f or information will not be honored. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Due to time constraints, participants are encouraged to submit Statements of Capability no later than 12:00 p.m., Easte rn Standard Time on 20 December 2007 to the attention of Carol Olson, Contract Specialist, via e-mail to carol.s.olson@usace.army.mil, or tina.a.guillot@usace.army.mil, or by fax to 651-290-5706.
