- PROPOSED SOLICITATION NUMBER: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NUMBER (RFQ) Q6520080010 NOTICE TO POTENTIAL QUOTERS - This is a 100% set aside for small business contractors. NAICS CODE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210. SIZE STANDARD: The small business size standard is $13 million in average annual gross receipts. MAGNITUDE OF PROCUREMENT: Simplified Acquisition TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm-fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE: The work of this project involves the relocation of the 24/7 Security Dispatch Center from the Arch Complex to the Old Courthouse at 11 N. 4th Street, St. Louis MO. Contractor will be required to disconnect all electronic equipment controlled/monitored by Dispatchers which is fed by telephone lines, coax cable, fiber optic cable from the Arch Dispatch HUB and reconnected at its new location, the Old Court House HUB, which will have the telephonic and fiber optic termination points in place. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Work shall commence on or about February 4, 2008 and installation complete within five calendar days. Total system will be tested for functionality for a period of one week after installation of equipment, during which time Contractor shall immediately respond to troubleshoot the malfunction/deficiency. PAYMENT: Payment to Contractor will be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The Request for Quotation (RFQ) Package will be issued on or about January 2, 2008 with a response date of not later than January 23, 2008. RFQ packages may be obtained via the internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunities website at http://ideasesc.nbc.gov. or the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. ALL QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN HARD COPY. EFFECTIVE October 1, 2003, ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) database is mandatory to be granted an award. If a successful Quoter has not been registered in the CCR database, or is not active in the CCR database by the time the Contracting Officer makes an award, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful Quoter. Quoters who are not registered should apply for registration immediately upon receipt of the Request for Quote. The Central Contractor Registration website can be accessed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
