Description

THIS AMENDMENT IS ISSUED TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS. THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR QUOTATIONS REMAINS UNCHANGED. QUESTIONS AND ANSERWS ARE AS FOLLOWS CLIN 0001: QUESTION 1: Are the high humidity levels going to always be above 32F? Answer: Yes . QUESTION 2: Where will the 15 HP condenser be located? Answer: The chamber is going to be next to an interior wall and refrigerant will run to the condenser outside the building (estimating 10 feet). QUESTION 3: Will the government be responsible to un load and place the equipment at your installation site? Answer: An overhead crane can be provided and operated by the government to remove the chamber from the truck and sit it in place. The contractor will be responsible for installation of the condenser, refrigerant piping and all other services required for chamber operation. QUESTION 4: Is the chamber to be outdoors? Answer: No. It will be indoors. QUESTION 5: If indoors, what are the dimensions of the doors or hallways to where the chamber will be loca ted? Is a drawing available? Answer: A drawing can not be provided for security reasons. However, the facility resembles an open warehouse. A large roll up door will allow a tractor trailer to enter building and pull right up to the final site installation location.
