Description

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement for construction services in Farmington, New Mexico for the Navajo Indian Irrigation Project. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Subpart 14 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation under full and open competition. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for this requirement. The Government anticipates awarding a firm, fixed unit-price contract. The principal components of the work consist of the following: Removing existing un-reinforced concrete canal lining, excavating canal foundation and replacing with borrowed material, placing gravel and pipe under-drain system, and placing reinforced concrete canal lining. The estimated price range for this requirement is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a Size Standard of $31.0 million. The work is located approximately 18 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico in San Juan County. A Bid Bond along with Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. There will be a site tour scheduled (date, time, and location will be provided in the solicitation). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
